Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Residential Coordinator (RC) or Lead DSP to coordinate a range of services for individuals with disabilities. You’ll assist the Program Director, manage community outings, provide hands-on support, and help with daily living tasks to promote independence and well-being across multiple homes.

The role emphasizes person-centered care, communication with staff and families, and active participation in documentation and program consistency.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of prior experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Person-centered, patient, and kind.
• Dependable, adaptable, flexible.
• Observant and detail oriented.
• Positive role-model and able to work on a team.
• Committed to a respectful, collaborative environment.
• Valid driver's license (due to transporting persons served).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director in maintaining program consistency.
• Coordinate community outings and appointments.
• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure comfort, safety, and personal growth of individuals served.
• Assist with daily living tasks and light housekeeping.
• Build relationships with persons served and teammates.
• Transport individuals to appointments or activities.
• Document progress, milestones, and action steps.

AResidential Coordinator (RC)or Lead DSPis a pivotal position in our homes!The RCis responsible forcoordinating a variety of services including but not limitedto;individual finances, community integration, program implementation, family involvement, and education/vocational programs. The RCis required toassistthe Program Director inmaintainingconsistency in programming, individual care, and communication with staff and interdisciplinary team members.
