Job summary

John Hughes Company is seeking a confident, adaptable Project Manager to oversee multiple residential construction projects. You’ll maintain schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure quality while staying calm under pressure.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in residential construction, strong sequencing knowledge, and a proven ability to manage several projects with fieldwork experience and a valid driver’s license.

  • 3–5+ years of residential construction or remodeling project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects without becoming overwhelmed.
  • Comfortable with fieldwork: site walks, ladders, crawlspaces, attics, active job sites.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

This role includes regular movement through active construction environments, including walking, climbing stairs/ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs when essential.
