Job summary

Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer, Construction to support the Project Manager and field staff through preconstruction to closeout on residential housing projects. This hands-on role offers broad exposure to all phases of construction and emphasizes safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will assist with schedules, RFIs, submittals, budgeting, and coordination with subcontractors while gaining practical field experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related program (or equivalent education/experience).
• Familiarity with construction docs, processes, and lifecycle.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn Procore, Smartsheet, BuildingConnected and other PM software.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Support residential construction projects through full lifecycle.
• Assist with project schedules, milestones, and progress tracking.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, drawings, and docs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to stay on schedule.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, invoices, pay apps, and change orders.
• Participate in site walks to monitor quality, safety, and progress, including punch lists.
• Support permitting, utility coordination, material procurement, and long-lead tracking.
• Attend project meetings and provide progress updates with clients and partners.
• Assist with project closeout including inspections, as-builts, warranties, turnover.
