This role supports preconstruction and project delivery, performing quantity takeoffs, bid solicitation, cost analysis, and estimate preparation while assisting Project Managers through the full construction lifecycle. Ideal candidates are recent graduates or early-career professionals with a Bachelor's in a construction-related field, 1–3+ years of experience, and familiarity with estimating software such

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field.
• 1–3+ years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with estimating and construction management software or willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent organized, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred, or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed construction estimates for various projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and documents.
• Review plans to identify scope requirements, risks, and potential cost impacts.
• Solicit, collect, and analyze subcontractor bids to support estimate development.
• Assist with bid leveling, scope comparisons, and subcontractor/vendor selection recommendations.
• Support the preparation of proposals, bid packages, budgets, and value engineering analyses.
• Maintain subcontractor, supplier, labor, and material cost databases and research market pricing.
• Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, procurement, and coordination.
• Attend project meetings and document key discussions and actions.
• Track budgets, committed costs, change orders, and procurement activities.
