Job summary

Sevan Multi-Site Solutions in Plano, TX seeks a Project Engineer, Construction Services to support project managers through preconstruction to closeout. Based in our Plano office, the role requires coordinating schedules, submittals, RFIs, and field communication while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Travel up to 50% may be required. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in construction management and 2+ years of related experience, plus proficiency with MS Office, Procore, Smart Sheet,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, or relative program.
• 2+ years related professional experience and/or training.
• Familiarity with construction documents, processes, and project lifecycle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and email; capable of learning Smart Sheet, Procore, Building Connected and other PM software.
• OSHA 30, or ability to acquire, is required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout in partnership with the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules (MS Project or Primavera P6) while tracking milestones and critical path items.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, drawing logs, meeting minutes, and document revisions to ensure accurate and timely communication.
• Help solicit, evaluate, and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to keep work aligned with schedule and scope.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, invoice review, pay applications, and change order pricing and tracking.
• Participate in site walks to verify work meets plans, specifications, and quality standards; track punch list items and corrective actions.
• Assist with permitting, utility coordination, material procurement, and long-lead item tracking.
• Attend OAC meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and inspectors.
• Support final inspections, as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and turnover documentation.
• Gain hands-on experience across scheduling, budgeting, field operations, and client coordination in a fast-paced project environment.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
