Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management preferred.
• 4-10 years construction experience with supervisory or project oversight.
• Advanced training in residential trades preferred.
• Knowledge of homebuilding codes and ROC (Register of Contractor Standards).
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect all construction aspects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Hyphen knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage homebuilding construction through all phases to ensure quality delivery.
• Schedule subcontractors and material delivery dates.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and Meritage standards.
• Conduct walk-through inspections with homeowners.
• Communicate safety standards and enforce safety regulations on sites.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and subdivisions.
• Interact daily with departments, subcontractors, customers, and city inspectors.
• Attend construction, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
