Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking a skilled construction supervisor to manage the building of quality homes across projects in Florida. You will schedule subcontractors, coordinate deliveries, and ensure compliance with codes and company standards while maintaining safety and quality on site.

The role requires extensive supervision experience, strong customer service, and the ability to read blueprints and inspect all construction phases.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma; college degree in construction management preferred.
4–10 years of construction experience with supervision or project oversight.
Advanced training in residential building trades preferred.
Knowledge of homebuilding, codes, and ROC; able to read blueprints and inspect all construction aspects.

Responsibilities

Manage homebuilding construction through all phases to ensure delivery of a quality home.
Schedule subcontractors and material deliveries.
Ensure building codes and Meritage Home standards are met.
Conduct walk-through inspections with homeowners.
Enforce safety standards on all job sites; communicate safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and subdivision.
Interact daily with multiple company departments, subcontractors, customers, and city inspectors.
Attend construction, monthly and quarterly meetings.
