Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee home-building activities across assigned communities in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on quality control, cost management, schedule adherence, and effective collaboration with trade partners and internal teams.

You will conduct regular site walks, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with building codes while leveraging Build Pro and Procore for streamlined workflows. A strong background in residential construction management is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred or 3–5 years in home building/construction.
• Experience in residential construction management is required.
• Proficiency with Build Pro, Procore, and MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities from inception to move-in, managing sites, scheduling, and trade partners to meet timelines and scopes.
• Conduct twice-daily home walks to monitor progress, uphold quality, and ensure schedule compliance while protecting profitability.
• Negotiate inspector/trade partner issues to support budget adherence and continuous improvement of processes.
• Manage daily trade partner communications and approvals in Build Pro, including change orders and payments.
• Ensure safety, code compliance, and proper documentation across job sites.
