Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee home-building projects across assigned communities in Columbia, SC. You will manage on-site activities, coordinate trade partners, and ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.

This role emphasizes safety, cost control, and compliance with building codes. Ideal candidates bring residential construction management experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with BuildPro/Procore and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred).
• Residential construction management experience required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; proficient with construction software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities, supervise trade partners, and ensure timelines and scopes are met with quality.
• Lead pre-construction, pre-drywall, and final presentation meetings on each home.
• Negotiate solutions with inspectors/trade partners to stay on budget; identify efficiencies.
• Manage trade partner communications and invoice approvals via BuildPro.
• Provide feedback to Lead Construction Manager on trade partner performance and timeliness.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and code compliance; maintain safety logs.
• Perform Stormwater inspections and maintain required documentation.
• Maintain documents including change orders, POs, and safety logs.
• Collaborate with sales, customer care, and management for effective resolution of issues.
