Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee home construction from start to finish in our communities. The role emphasizes quality control, cost management, and schedule adherence, with hands-on supervision of trade partners and on-site teams.

Candidates should have 3-5 years in residential construction management, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Build Pro, Procore, and Microsoft Office. Excellent driving record and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred, or 3-5 years' experience in home building/construction.
• Experience in residential construction management required.
• Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities from inception to move-in, managing sites, schedules and trade partners to ensure timelines.
• Conduct twice-daily home walks to monitor progress, uphold quality, and maintain schedule compliance.
• Negotiate inspector/trade partner issues with cost-effective resolutions and CIP improvements.
• Manage daily trade partner communications and invoice approvals in Build Pro.
• Provide feedback on trade partner timeliness and accuracy affecting relationships.
• Maintain safety logs, conduct on-site safety meetings, and ensure regulatory compliance.
