DSLD Homes in Ruston, LA seeks an Assistant Superintendent to manage daily field operations for multiple residential projects. This full-time role emphasizes teamwork, quality, and clear communication with homeowners and trade partners.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and experience in residential construction, plus a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Travel within the assigned area is expected; salary is based on experience.

Qualifications

Experience in residential construction preferred.
Excellent communication and face-to-face interaction with homeowners and trade partners required.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
Residency in Louisiana (LA) or nearby states may be preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop literacy in building code, construction and technical language, materials, schedules and DSLD Homes Field Guide Specs.
Assist the superintendent in day-to-day operations of building homes in high volume neighborhoods.
Work on punch lists and coordinate with trades and homeowners for post-closing issues.
Communicate effectively with trades and suppliers; maintain safe, clean jobsites.
Assist Customer Care Technicians with warranty work as needed; travel within assigned area.
