Job summary

Qualifications

• Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Knowledge of residential construction and industry experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required; travel to sites within the assigned area.
• Currently in school pursuing a degree; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, climbing, lifting; weather exposure.
• Residency in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop literacy in building code, construction language, materials, schedules, methods, and standards.
• Assist the superintendent with day-to-day operations of building homes in high-volume neighborhoods.
• Work on punch lists and coordinate with trades and homeowners.
• Maintain cleanliness of jobsites and ensure safety practices.
• Assist with warranty service when needed and participate in post-closing items.
