Job summary

DSLD Homes is seeking an Assistant Superintendent (Full-Time) in Ruston, LA to oversee multiple residential construction projects. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and strong communication with homeowners and trade partners.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within the assigned area, with duties including punch lists, site coordination, and ensuring safety and quality on each home.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and strong communication skills are essential.
• Experience in residential construction preferred.
• Travel to different locations within assigned area required.
• Residency in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas.

Responsibilities

• Develop literacy in building codes, construction methods, materials, schedules, and DSLD Homes Field Guide specs.
• Assist the superintendent with day-to-day operations of building homes in high volume neighborhoods.
• Work on punch lists.
• Communicate effectively with trades and suppliers.
• Check spec homes.
• Maintain cleanliness of jobsites.
• Coordinate with trades and homeowners for post-closing punch list items.
• Assist Customer Care Technicians with warranty work when needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
