Job summary

MFort Security Services in Chicago, IL is seeking a professional Part-Time Concierge Security Officer to maintain a safe, welcoming environment at a residential property. You will greet residents, manage access, and respond to safety concerns with courtesy.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in concierge or front-desk security, strong customer service, and the ability to multitask. 18+ with PERC card and 20-hour security training; position runs Monday to Friday, 11AM-3PM, at $19/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 1 year of residential concierge or front desk security experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Enforce access control procedures and monitor visitor management systems.
• Observe, report, and document incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure a secure and orderly environment.
• Maintain situational awareness and respond promptly to emergencies or concerns.
• Adhere to all company policies, post orders, and client procedures.
• Communicate effectively with property management, clients, team members, and contractors.
• Responsibly use company and client-provided equipment for security and monitoring tasks.
• Perform additional duties as required by site management or MFort supervisors.
