Job summary

MFort Security Services in Chicago seeks a Concierge Security Officer to maintain a safe and welcoming environment at a residential property on a fixed swing shift.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, a calm and courteous demeanor, and prior concierge/front-desk experience. The position offers competitive pay of $20.40 per hour with a Fri-Sat 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and Sun-Mon 11:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule, plus potential for an extra night shift.

Qualifications

• Swing shift schedule required (Fri-Sat 3 PM–11 PM, Sun-Mon 11 PM–7 AM).
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 2 years of residential concierge or front desk security experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Drug screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, guests, and visitors warmly.
• Enforce access control and monitor visitor management.
• Observe, report incidents and safety hazards.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or concerns.
• Adhere to company policies and client procedures.
• Communicate with property management, clients, and team.
• Operate security equipment as required.
