Job summary

MFort Security Services in Chicago seeks a professional Concierge Commercial Officer for a temporary 2nd shift, with potential to become permanent. You will safeguard residents, guests, and staff, manage access controls, and report incidents.

Requires 1+ year in concierge/front desk security, strong communication, and the ability to multitask. Shift is 3:00 PM–11:00 PM on a residential property; 19.00 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Temporary 2nd shift with potential for permanent role.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 1 year of residential concierge or front desk security experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Enforce access control procedures and monitor visitor management systems.
• Observe, report, and document incidents or safety hazards.
• Conduct routine patrols to maintain a secure environment.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or concerns.
• Communicate with property management, clients, and team members.
• Use company and client equipment responsibly for security tasks.
• Perform additional duties as required by site management.
