The Residential & Commercial HVAC Service Manager is responsible for phone and field technical support of our customers, educating customers and Associates on equipment sold by Famous, and industry standards.

This position includes a monthly auto allowance, fuel card, and expense reimbursement.

Looking to fill positions in Western PA as well as Ohio

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years of field experience in both commercial and residential products and applications

• CFC Section 608 license

• Must have a thorough understanding of airflow, refrigeration cycle, codes, electrical wiring including ladder and pictorial wiring diagrams, gas piping, gas pressure regulators, and industry-standard tools.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Ability to climb ladders.

• Ability to travel overnight as needed.

• Ability to supervise hands on training and present to large groups.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Famous Supply customers to ensure that equipment sold by Famous is properly installed and started in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.

• Provide end-user communication and assistance when requested by a Famous customer and be the liaison between end users and Famous customers when the need arises.

• Educate Famous customers on industry updates.

• Assist Famous customers in solving equipment and application problems associated with products sold by Famous.

• Directly responsible for clear, accurate, and concise feedback to the Director of HVAC Products, vendors, and other related parties regarding problems, opportunities, and competitive products.

• Maintain written records of job site visits, phone calls, and other customer contacts. These records include but are not limited to, contractors, retail customers, lawyers, and governmental agencies.

Experience and Skills:

• Understanding of steam and hydronic systems

• Ability to teach Duct Sizing and Residential Load Calculations

• Develop and present HVAC training classes

• Experience with Building Automation Controls

• Supervise a hands-on training classroom

• Ability to present material to larger groups of customers
