Job summary

The RMR Group in Atlanta is seeking a Litigation & Claims Associate, Residential to manage a portfolio of insured and uninsured claims and litigation across a growing multifamily platform. This role coordinates with internal stakeholders, insurance partners, and outside counsel to ensure timely resolution.

The ideal candidate brings about 5 years of experience in claims management or litigation support, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in claims management, litigation support, insurance, legal operations, risk management or related fields.
• Experience coordinating insurance claims and litigation matters with increasing responsibility.
• Working knowledge of civil litigation processes and legal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage insured and uninsured claims and litigation from reporting through resolution.
• Coordinate with carriers, adjusters, and outside counsel for effective claims handling.
• Support all aspects of liability claims and litigation management, including discovery and case tracking.
• Review litigation documents like pleadings, subpoenas, and settlements.
• Monitor claim reserves, settlements, and financial exposure across the portfolio.
• Prepare summaries and analyses for senior leadership.
