Job summary

CoreCivic in Texas is seeking a Child Care Administrator to provide on-site oversight of residential child-care programs within our detention facility. The role focuses on quality care, safety, and compliance while guiding a dedicated team.

You will plan activities, supervise staff, maintain records, and coordinate services to meet developmental needs of children in care, including policy reviews and staff training. A Bachelor's degree and relevant licensing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of residential child care experience, including one year in supervision.
• Must meet state licensing requirements and hold CCAL.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, coordinates, monitors and evaluates residential child-care programs.
• Plans, develops, and conducts classes and activities for children.
• Observes children and assists in managing disputes.
• Reviews facility policies and recommends changes.
• Supervises staff and ensures adequate staffing.
• Maintains records including program plans, attendance, evaluations.
• Maintains lists of eligible participants.
