Job summary

QXO is seeking a hands-on Carpenter to construct, assemble, and install residential building components. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring, and safely operating hand and power tools to complete framing and finish carpentry tasks.

You’ll partner with a residential crew to deliver high‑quality homes and remodels. The position offers an hourly wage and a path to growth within a leading building products distributor and installer.

Qualifications

Experience in carpentry or a related trade.
Ability to read and interpret basic construction documents.
Able to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Safety‑minded with knowledge of PPE.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements.
Install, build, or repair structures and components using a variety of tools and equipment.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
Load, move, and organize materials as needed for projects.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as needed.
