Job summary

QXO is hiring a Carpenter to build, assemble, and install residential components for new home construction and remodeling. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring materials, and safely operating hand and power tools to complete framing, structural, and finish carpentry tasks.

You will work with a residential carpentry crew to deliver high-quality projects while adhering to safety policies and maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry or related trade preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints.
• Comfort with measuring and cutting materials.
• Safety-conscious and able to work in a crew.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements.
• Install, build, or repair structures and components using tools and equipment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and project specifications.
• Load, move, and organize materials as needed for projects.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
