Synergy HomeCare of the Champlain Valley in Vermont is seeking a Residential Caregiver – Personal Care Assistant to support clients at home, helping maintain independence through non-medical daily tasks and compassionate care.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, while transporting clients to activities and building trusted relationships with families. Flexible full- or part-time shifts available.

Responsibilities

POSITION DETAILS

• Role:Residential Caregiver - Personal Care Assistant
• Type:Full- or part-time
• Location:Addison County, VT
• Service Area:Addison, Bridport, Bristol, Cornwall, Ferrisburgh, Granville, Hancock, Leicester, Lincoln, Middlebury, Monkton, NewHaven, Orwell, Panton, Ripton, Salisbury, Shoreham, Starksboro, Vergennes (city), Waltham, Weybridge, Whiting, plus unincorporated EastMiddlebury
• Pay:$17 - $22/hour (based on experience), with per diem pay up to part-time
• Schedule:Full- or part-time options, we offer days, nights, overtime, and weekends

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Residential Caregiver – Personal Care Assistant, you provide essential support, allowing clients to maintain their independence within their homes. You assist with various daily living responsibilities and perform entry-level, non-medical tasks tailored to each client's unique needs, including personal care duties, mobility assistance, basic housekeeping, and medication reminders. Beyond practical assistance, you transport clients to appointments and activities, fostering warm companionship and building genuine friendships. You consistently act respectfully, support their independence, and communicate effectively with coworkers and families to ensure consistent and reliable care.
