Job summary

Road to Responsibility in Norwell, MA is seeking a full-time Residential Support Staff member to help individuals with daily living skills. You will assist with meals, hygiene, routines, and mobility, and accompany clients to appointments and community activities.

You will implement individualized plans, administer medications as needed, keep a tidy, safe home, and document progress. A valid driver’s license and HS diploma are required; training and CORI background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
• Successful completion and maintenance of all mandated trainings, including medication administration.
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living skills like cooking, hygiene, and routines.
• Provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance as needed.
• Attend medical appointments and community activities.
• Implement individualized support and behavioral plans.
• Administer medications following established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Provide transportation as required.
• Complete documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with team members, families, and care providers.
• Serve as a positive role model and advocate for those you support.
