Job summary

MaineHealth Behavioral Health offers transitional residential treatment programs across 12 locations from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will help individuals enhance functioning and quality of life by guiding them toward treatment objectives in both the residential program and the community.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
  • Current certification as MHRT 1 must be obtained within one year of employment.
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred.

  • Guide individuals toward achieving their treatment objectives within the residential program and the broader community.
  • Help individuals enhance their overall functioning and quality of life.
  • Support ongoing treatment and community integration.

Position Highlights
  • Sign-on bonus: Up to $5,000, contingent upon eligibility.
  • Shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts
  • Full Time - Day schedule
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide must be obtained within 1 year of hire. Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1) must be obtained within one year of employment. Valid Driver’s License preferred.

The pay range for this position is $19.87to $23.75 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
