Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1) must be obtained within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

Summary

MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults, navigating mental health challenges across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents' day to day as they build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections that promote recovery and reduce stigma.

This is a Wednesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. opportunity.

Position Highlights
  • Shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts
  • Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000, paid in accordance with program guidelines.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide must be obtained within 1 year of hire. Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1) must be obtained within one year of employment. Valid Driver's License preferred.
  3. Experience: Experience working in a residential setting preferred.
