MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults, navigating mental health challenges across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents’ day to day as they build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections that promote recovery and reduce stigma.

Position Highlights:

  • Shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts
  • Eligible candidates may receive a sign‑on bonus of up to $5,000, paid in accordance with program guidelines.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide must be obtained within 1 year of hire. Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1) must be obtained within one year of employment. Valid Driver’s License preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working in a residential setting preferred.
