Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Med-tech or CNA Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
• Current TB test and health screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care that promotes safety, respect, and therapeutic engagement.
• Observe clients’ physical and emotional condition and report concerns to clinical or supervisory staff.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as mobility, toileting, bathing, and meals.
• Take and document vital signs and complete wellness checks.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medications.
• Respond to behavioral health or medical crises and follow intervention protocols.
• Maintain client rooms and common areas to ensure a safe living environment.
• Provide safe transportation for program activities and appointments.
