Job SummaryThe Residential Care Technician is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supporting medical and behavioral needs, and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment. This role oversees client health monitoring, documentation, ADL assistance, transportation, and medication observation.Essential FunctionsProvide direct client care that promotes safety, respect, and therapeutic engagement.Observe clients’ physical and emotional condition and promptly report any concerns to clinical or supervisory staff.Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, toileting, bathing, and meals, as needed.Take and document vital signs, complete wellness checks, and record observations according to program procedures.Observe and document client self-administration of medications in accordance with program and regulatory requirements.Respond appropriately to behavioral health or medical crises and follow established intervention protocols.Prepare and maintain client rooms and common areas to ensure a safe and supportive living environment.
