Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Care Team Manager to lead a residential home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will coach staff, ensure quality care, and foster a person-centered environment where residents can thrive.

You will oversee daily operations, staffing, compliance, and partnerships with clinicians, guardians, and providers. A hands-on leader who values teamwork and community engagement is ideal for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and TB screenings (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the group home, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, train, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Maintain staffing schedules and support staff development and accountability.
• Ensure the home is safe, clean, and well-maintained; coordinate repairs.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to address facility concerns.
• Work with clinical leadership to support residents' health and safety.
• Promote person-centered care and encourage independence and community involvement.
• Maintain communications with guardians, medical providers, and regulatory agencies.
• Attend individual meetings, appointments, and community activities as needed.
• Monitor documentation, medication administration, and program compliance.
