Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a compassionate, organized Care Team Manager to lead one of our residential homes serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will provide leadership to your team, ensure quality care, and foster a person-centered environment where individuals can thrive.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or college coursework in Business, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and work within Beacon programs.
• TB screenings where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the home, including staffing, quality goals, and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, train, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Maintain staffing schedules and staff development.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of the home; coordinate repairs.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to support residents' health and safety.
• Promote person-centered care and community involvement.
• Communicate with guardians, medical providers, regulatory agencies, and teams.
• Attend meetings, appointments, and community activities as needed.
• Monitor documentation, medication administration, and program compliance.
