Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a compassionate, organized Care Team Manager to lead one of our residential homes supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will provide leadership to your team, ensure quality care, and foster a person-centered environment where individuals can thrive.

As hands-on leader, you will coach staff, build relationships, recruit and supervise Direct Support Professionals, manage schedules, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and TB screenings.
• Ability to maintain required certifications, trainings, and TB screenings (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company policies and state regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily operations of the assigned group home, including financial, operational, and quality goals.
• Recruit, train, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Maintain staffing schedules and support employee development and accountability.
• Ensure the home remains safe, clean, and well-maintained by coordinating repairs and maintenance.
• Partner with maintenance teams and approved contractors to resolve facility concerns.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to support the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals served.
• Promote person-centered care while encouraging independence and community involvement.
• Maintain communication with guardians, medical providers, regulatory agencies, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Attend individual meetings, appointments, and community activities as needed.
• Monitor documentation, medication administration, and program compliance.
