Job summary

Helping People Excel, Inc. is seeking a Residential Direct Care Staff member to support residents with daily activities and individualized programs.

The role involves implementing the Plan of Service, monitoring health changes, and documenting progress diligently. You will ensure safety, assist with transportation, and maintain a clean living environment while upholding privacy and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA or 1 year experience in Human Services preferred.
• Must hold CPR and First Aid certifications; Medication Administration certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Overall Plan of Service for residents.
• Monitor daily medical, physical, and behavioral changes and report to supervisors.
• Administer medications per policy and document accurately.
• Ensure resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the home and vehicle, perform basic maintenance.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and provide mandatory training to staff.
