Job summary

Birch Family Services is seeking an Experienced supervisor to support a residence for adults with cognitive and physical challenges. You will supervise DSP staff, oversee shifts, and coordinate with the residence team to implement treatment plans.

Responsibilities include collaborating with schools/day programs, participating in meetings, and ensuring quality services while maintaining confidentiality and safety across the residence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field, preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in OPWDD field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in residential, health or treatment setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maximizing the functioning of mentally/physically handicapped adults.
• Provide staff supervision and oversee residence in the absence of Residence Manager.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on treatment/behavioral plans.
• Assign work and oversee DSP and Supervisors on their duties.
• Attend semi-annual, annual and special meetings at schools/day treatment programs.
