Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Experience may be substituted with education on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor consumer behavior and implement management programs.
• Document all shift activities and incidents.
• Provide counseling and reinforcement to assigned consumers.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Experience with developmentally disabled individuals

Education

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Two years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Tools

CPR certification

First Aid certification

DDS State Medication Administration certification
