Empowering People's Independence (EPI) is hiring to lead the program operations and provide daily supervision for individuals with developmental disabilities, epilepsy, and brain injury. You will ensure safety, policy compliance, and staff coverage while supporting client goals and staff development.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and adherence to OPWDD requirements, with a comprehensive benefits package and an hourly pay rate of $22.50–$28.00.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with combined one-year experience in human services or an associate degree.
• Valid NYS driver's license; vehicle required for business travel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong numerical comprehension and attention to detail.
• Professional, confidential interpersonal conduct and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the health and well-being of the individuals served by EPI.
• Report policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Provide on-call coverage as needed.
• Offer protective oversight and supervision for assigned individuals.
• Aid and instruct individuals daily to meet goals; support habilitation staff.
• Ensure adequate shift coverage and site-specific staff training.
• Complete required reports per EPI specifications.
