Job summary

BIM Supportive Living LLC is seeking a Psychiatric Technician to provide hands-on client care and behavioral support in a supportive living setting. You will coordinate daily routines, supervise direct care staff, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining client dignity and safety.

The role includes supervising staff, reporting changes to the Health Director, and ensuring compliance with confidentiality and safety protocols. A California license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active California Psychiatric Technician license in good standing or at least 5 years psychiatric experience.
• Current BLS certification and agency-required training.
• Experience with IDD or mental health conditions preferred.
• Strong communication, observation, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Meet applicable background clearance and driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care and support activities of daily living to promote independence per Person-Centered Plan.
• Implement behavioral support strategies; observe, document, and report changes in client condition or behavior.
• Coordinate daily household routines, appointments, transportation, activities, and supplies.
• Supervise and coordinate direct care staff; communicate coverage needs to the designated manager.
• Monitor T-Logs, incident reports, care records, and medication documentation; report discrepancies.
