Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support residents in a residential facility. You will administer medications, provide counseling, and help residents develop independent living skills, while maintaining thorough documentation and coordinating with care teams.

The role requires strong communication, crisis intervention skills, and adherence to policies. Valid driver's license not required, but compliance with facility procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate’s degree with CBHT may qualify with relevant experience.
• Minimum one year of paid experience in human services required.
• Knowledge of mental illness, substance abuse issues and counseling techniques.
• Excellent communication, record keeping and organizing abilities.

Responsabilités

• Maintains accurate medication records and distributes medications as needed.
• Provides counseling and training to residents to improve living skills.
• Maintains and documents service assessments, plans and progress notes.
• Communicates with outside agencies, case managers and family members as appropriate.
• Responds to crisis situations and assists with behavioral contracts and safety planning.
