Job summary

ColumbiaCare Services' Beckett Center in Medford, Oregon, seeks a Residential Care Associate I to provide compassionate companionship, assist with daily living tasks, and help residents develop independence. Under RN supervision, duties include meal prep, medication passing, transportation, documentation, and participating in an accredited training program; driving and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Caregiving and/or mental health experience is preferred.
• Commitment to the wellbeing of each resident and helping them complete their activities of daily living (ADL’s) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs).

Responsibilities

• Provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation, clean-up, and food purchasing; encourage client participation.
• Under RN guidance, pass medications and perform delegated medical care as prescribed by the client’s primary care provider.
• Transport clients to and from the program as necessary to engage and provide treatment services.
• Maintain compliance with established productivity standards for documentation of services.
