Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Residential Care Advisor for our Munhall location to support individuals with Serious Mental Illness in a residential setting. You will mentor a team, apply strengths-based approaches, and ensure compassionate, person-centered care.

The role involves cooking, medication management, transportation to appointments, and coordinating with the treatment team. It requires empathy, reliability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure within a close-knit, home-like

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalency with 1 year of direct care experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pre-employment drug screen and Act 33/34/73 clearances are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and medication management.
• Transport residents to appointments and coordinate with treatment teams and families.
• Design and lead activities like games and crafts to support engagement and treatment goals.

Pittsburgh Mercy is looking for a Residential Care Advisor to provide assistance and training to individuals with Serious Mental Illness in our residential treatment Munhall location. We’re looking for people who have experience developing and mentoring a team, and who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities.
