Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Residential Care Advisor to provide assistance and training to individuals with Serious Mental Illness in our Munhall location. This team-based role emphasizes a strengths-based approach and positive practices to guide daily activities.

You may cook, clean, manage medications, accompany residents to appointments, interact with families and the treatment team, and design engaging activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma or Equivalency with 1 year of direct care experience.
• Valid driver license is required.
• Pre-employment drug screening.
• Act 33/34/73 clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and training to individuals with serious mental illness in a residential setting.
• Demonstrate strengths-based approaches and positive practices to guide daily activities.
• Cook, clean, manage medications, and accompany residents to appointments.
• Interact with families and the resident treatment team.
• Design games and crafts to support engagement.

Pittsburgh Mercy is looking for a Residential Care Advisor to provide assistance and training to individuals with Serious Mental Illness in our residential treatment Munhall location. We’re looking for people who have experience developing and mentoring a team, and who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities.

In any given day, you might cook, clean, manage medications, take residents to appointments, interact with family and resident treatment team members, and design games and crafts.
