Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Residential Care Advisor to provide assistance and training to individuals with Serious Mental Illness in our Munhall residential treatment location. We value individuals who can mentor a team and apply strengths-based practices to guide daily activities.

The role involves cooking, cleaning, medication management, accompanying residents to appointments, and coordinating with families and treatment teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma or Equivalency with 1 year of direct care experience.
• Valid Driver license
• Pre-employment drug screen
• Act 33/34/73 clearances

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and training to individuals with Serious Mental Illness in residential treatment Munhall location.
• In a team-based role, cook, clean, manage medications, take residents to appointments, interact with family and resident treatment team members.
• Design games and crafts and maintain a compassionate, professional environment for residents.

We’re looking for people who have experience developing and mentoring a team, and who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities.
