Job summary

Tuskes Homes is seeking a Residential Drafter to prepare construction drawings, plan customizations, and permit packages for homes in the Lehigh Valley. You will work with design, sales, and construction teams to ensure accuracy and timely submission, and help design new home plans for the portfolio.

The role requires CAD proficiency (DataCAD a plus) and the ability to read construction drawings and codes, with on-site work in Bethlehem, PA. Training is provided for DataCAD and related processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field.
• Experience with CAD software; DataCAD a plus; training provided.
• Ability to read construction drawings and know residential codes.
• Familiarity with ResCheck is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create construction drawings and plan customizations per specifications.
• Design new home plans with two elevations per plan.
• Prepare permit submittal packets and energy compliance (ResCheck).
• Maintain base floor plans and block library.
• Track progress with spreadsheets and coordinate with consultants and subcontractors.
• Print and organize plans and documents as requested.
