Qualifications

• Minimum six months as Drafter / CAD Designer II.
• Ability to produce detailed construction drawings.
• Understanding of structural connectors and fastener calculations.

Responsibilities

• Designing project-specific trusses accurately.
• Producing production drawings for factory use.
• Reviewing and marking up drawings for accuracy.

Skills

Modular home drafting experience

Proficiency with VectorWorks or CAD software

Knowledge of construction

Ability to guide junior drafters

Associate’s degree or equivalent
