Job summary

MMS Group is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician for a 282-unit residential property in Jonesboro, GA. The role involves maintaining apartment homes and common areas, performing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs, and handling unit turnover with various improvements.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of multifamily maintenance, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of residential multifamily property maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Regular maintenance of residential apartment homes and common areas.
• Perform repairs in residential units (electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Install tile and laminate flooring.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hour emergencies.
• Manage turnover of empty units including repairs (sheetrock, taping, sanding, painting, doors/windows/fixtures).
• Perform other duties as outlined in the job description.
