Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel seeks attentive Behavioral Health Technicians to join a 40-bed residential detox and inpatient program. You’ll support intake, supervision, activities, transportation, and client engagement in a warm, recovery-focused environment.

We value empathetic, accountable team members who set firm boundaries and model recovery principles, working with clinicians and nurses to help clients progress toward sustained sobriety. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
