Job summary

SWOOD is seeking a compassionate aide to provide personal care to patients in an IDD/ASD residential program for males aged 6-21, under clinical supervision. The role is primarily in a classroom setting but may assist on treatment units.

Responsibilities include safety checks every 15 minutes, documenting clinical information, assisting with activities of daily living, transporting patients when needed, and supporting educational-rehabilitative groups on social skills and independent living.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with the facility's population preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients under supervision.
• Conduct safety checks at 15-minute intervals.
• Document clinical information in patient records.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
