Job summary

Sierra Meadows & Ascend Behavioral Health seeks a full-time Behavioral Healthcare Technician I to provide direct care in a residential adult facility. Under clinical supervision, you assist with ADLs, monitor patient well-being, support treatment planning, administer medications, and help create a safe, therapeutic environment.

You will collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and rehabilitation therapists to treat and rehabilitate patients, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and help

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Ability to multitask and maintain facility standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Driver's License / Clean Driving Record.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide personal care.
• Observe and influence patients’ behavior in a positive manner.
• Support the clinical team through crisis intervention, case management, and coordination of patient treatment plans.
• Collaborate with doctors, psychologists, and rehabilitation therapists to treat and rehabilitate patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient health per physician prescriptions.
• Maintain safety checks and ensure a clean, sanitized living environment.
• Document progress and communicate in interdisciplinary meetings and daily briefings.
