Job summary

Root Center for Advanced Recovery is seeking a clinical supervisor for its New Britain Residential Program. You will oversee a team of counselors, residential techs, service coordinators and peer staff, ensuring care aligns with CARF, Primary Care standards, and CT-DPH regulations.

The role requires a graduate degree with CT licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT) and at least 3 years in substance use services, including supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree with CT licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) required.
• Minimum 3 years full-time experience in substance use services, with at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• CPR/AED or BLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and safe/clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical supervision to counselors, residential techs, service coordinators and peer support staff.
• Leads weekly staff meetings and training for professional development.
• Creates clinical treatment schedules and ensures 115 waiver compliance.
• Reviews treatment plans, progress notes and discharge summaries to monitor care quality.
• Facilitates case consultations and team collaboration to enhance patient treatment experiences.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and agency policy.
• Manages recruitment, HR/payroll data and new-hire orientation.
