Job summary

Old Oaks Ranch in the Hill Country near Austin is seeking a clinical director to oversee the clinical floor, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory readiness across the campus.

You will lead group and individual counseling, coordinate assessments and discharges, and maintain schedules while driving quality improvements and readiness for inspections. This on-site role demands strong clinical leadership and operational oversight.

Qualifications

• Master’s-level clinical license in good standing (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent).
• Two or more years supervising or running operations in behavioral health, residential treatment or healthcare.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in behavioral health or business administration.
• Experience with EHR systems.
• Working knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions and 12-step models.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support the clinical and residential staff.
• Lead daily team meetings and oversee program operations.
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions.
• Manage assessments, treatment plans and discharge coordination.
• Audit charts and ensure documentation compliance.
• Maintain staff schedules and campus coverage.
• Drive quality improvement and keep the campus ready for a regulator.
