Job summary

Sunrise Residential Treatment Center in southern Utah is hiring Behavioral Health Associates to support adolescent boys and girls ages 12–17. You’ll provide hands-on support with daily routines, emotional regulation, life skills, safety, and structured programming, working alongside therapists and nurses to ensure treatment goals are met.

Our program offers a safe, home-like environment where teens and families engage in relational, experiential, and evidence-based care focused on trauma,

Qualifications

• High-acuity response: manage verbal/physical outbursts in a residential setting.
• Emotional regulation: maintain composure and set firm boundaries.
• Growth mindset with boundary-setting and passion for adolescent mental health.

Responsibilities

• Daily routines: support structured schedules with encouragement and accountability.
• Crisis intervention: de-escalation; uses holds/restraints when needed to ensure safety.
• Crisis prevention: apply proactive strategies to reduce risk.
• Treatment alignment: ensure progress with therapists' plans.
• Positive modeling: reinforce healthy environment.
• Documentation: maintain thorough client interaction records.
• Team engagement: participate in staff and house bonding activities.
• Housekeeping: perform light daily tasks to maintain space.
